    Default just something to show

    Hello guys

I made a deal allong time ago with hobbybob about an 8 combiner of red. As development went on we agreed to prospone the build until i had sort of a final design.

Now the design of modules is coming to an end so we decided that its time to finish the deal. Both michelrietveld and Dimitri made a huge contribution in supporting me by buying stuff in the beginning with buying proto,s , cases and other stuff. He also has a 2 watt blue and another red so he can expand his collection of projectors now.

You can see in the picture 2 quads that are combined true a pbs. The PBS is in the knob from the left module. The right one is bend true a mirrormount. Combined it will deliver 2250mw of 660nm. The diodes can be swapped by 637,s in time by swapping the circuit board inside the modules. He also can decide to do a mix of 660nm and 637 by replacing only the diodes in one of the modules. The beamsize at aperture is 3.8 x3.8 and is 15mm at 26 meter. He will probably swapp the diodes in time when he made money with doing shows so its a long therm investment.

I want to thank michel end Dimitri (hobbybob ) for all the support and wish them both lots of fun with doing shows.

I have seen your builds improve greatly over the past few years. If I ever get together the scratch To build up another system I'd love to get a set of your blues and reds.

Here are some new pics. This is a quad 658nm with tec. I will bring it to prolight and sound to show to some people. Its doing 1200mw of 658. perfectly stable in temperture and allignment. The driver will be replaced by my own driver in wednesday and the tec driver will be improved but this is pretty much it. Enjoy the pics.

He guys, i recieved the new drivers today designed by Mr badpip. It,s originally designed to have it on the back but ii decided to mount it on top and the tec driver on the back from now on. Its more practical to have it on top and the new version should have the pots facing upwards when mounted on the topcover. The tec driver on the topcover can do 12v/6amps and so plenty to cool everything inside. You can see that it fits nicely on top so that is the way to go. Its almost impossible to mount the module but when these modules where manufactured i had a driver seperatly with a cable so that wasn,t an issue. I don,t want to make the module bigger in size because i like it the way it is. I made a couple of 2 watt blue,s and 4 watt blues and it didn,t even drop 1 mw in power But as many things in live it needs some finetuning and so this is one of these things. But the driver works perfectly and also the tec driver. Badpip you rock!!!

Hi guys. Here are some new pictures from a module that is just build for a customer. Its a module that has the driver on the top and the tec driver on the back.

Its a 2 watt blue. Beamsize on 26 meter 2 cm. Just to show the little progress i made.

I have these modules now also in 350mw 525mw/ 700mw/ 637nm, 1.5 watt of blue, 3 watt blue and 4 watt blue. All the modules will have the drivers and tec driver on the module for easy mounting in the projector. Very compact and also easy when replacing an excisting module in a projector.

input voltage is 12v and will be standard from now for both blue and red modules. 80khz of modulation.

    Hello guys

For people that are interested in red i decided to ad a telescope on all future red modules. Also there will be a new driver with tec that will be mounted on the top cover. The telescope will reduce the beamsize to 3x2 mm at aperture and 16mm at 26 meter.
The wavelength is 637nm and it will be available in 500mw and 700mw.

    Hello guys

I recieved the final driver that will be fitted from now on on the topcover of the modules. As you can see this will make the module very compact in size. This driver has overheatingsprotection, beamsupression, counter, stepdown convertor (module is power at 12v always) and a data output that can be connected to a display. (not developed yet). So progress is being made.

you might also want to include an aperture hole.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
