have you tested its output power with any kind of meter because those indoor pictures do not impress me to what I have seen from a 1 watt green. It looks more along the lines of my half watt green.

I can't say for sure, I've never seen a half watt laser, much less a full watt one, but those indoor pictures were taken in a brightly lit room. It's broad day light outside, with the curtains open. And yet, the beam is clearly visible.

However, the point is valid . A meassurement should be made for all our sakes :P

    Agreed,

A power meter is a great investment, especially if you are ever planning on playing with gas lasers..

i truly understand what you say here

    But trust me !!!!!
    It`s 1.2Watt !

I did think of that myself when I did upload the "indoor" pic that it seems strange..
But if you notice the rest of the room, it`s totally black !!!
Becouse the cam setting was on auto, so the cam did turn down the ISO settings!
That`s why the beam is like "ok" BUT the rest is totally dark

The room was sunny at daytime but the laser did blend the cam totally...
I will try to shoot some better pictures inside to show you how it is IRL

(but then again a fire of a match from 3-4 meeters after 2 second have to be proof ? )

well I take some more inside pics... if you want to send me a power meeter plz do so ...

Dont take this the wrong way but what are you basing the power output level from. Other lasers? When I first stated I made this mistake of basising my power ratings off of what i was told other lasers were. I am not trying to down your purchase but rather help because I am interested in one of these as well as long as it is outputing the said power. As far as the photo in concerned, I have never gotten a beam to look that dark that was over 100mw.

DreamBeams: ehmm well I have plenty with other lasers, in the range from 1mW and all the way up to 700mW !

And this laser kick the ass of all the others I got !!!

And I also trust my seller very much, and I talk to the factory while they run test on my laser while producing it !!
They have nothing to win if they told me the laser got more output than true !!
As they did "know" that I was going to test it myself.. and if they lie to me, they REALLY dont win on that..

So yes I really DO think that this is 1000mW laser !!
Dont take the pictures as a measurement... I can get a 5mW laser to act like it is 20000mW on a pic... 8)

But yes.. I want to measure the power of this laser.. and many other I got  but I dont got more money to buy a measure tool...

It's like $350 from the girl who sells these lasers.
However I heard you can get a light meter for $70 bucks

the question is, where can we get an accurate laser meter??
