Jon, offer stands but they can't stay in my garage forever... That goes for you too Brad.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

New offer: I was going to move a couple of converted Laserscopes to Costa Rica with me but changed my mind. I'm retiring from the lasershow business after 38 years. So here's the new deal. I have three converted z-fold Laserscope KTP532's for sale. Each will come with an unconverted complete parts unit of the same model, a dye module, new lamp with lamp bands, DI cartridge and H20 filter.
Model 501 water cooled gold cavity $2500.
Model 804 air cooled gold cavity $3500.
Model 703 air cooled ceramic cavity with built-in dye $4500.
I know there are people interested in these, some in Europe, but the problem is shipping. Anyone bringing a truck to Texas with an acceptable offer for all of them will receive the stuff that's left - another Laserscope parts unit, heat exchangers, boxes of parts, KTP crystals, optics, galvos, positioners, old bounce mirrors, optical breadboards, a HEPA clean hood, scrims and screens, cables, fiber optic stuff, etc.

    Brad-
I am working on Sugeek to car-pool to SELEM-w/me (et al) so we will have room in the utility trailer to delivery for you n/p IF that is- Adam & I can get the others needed to fill a car from Tx. Wish I had a spare $2500.. but at least I still could be a part of the deal- got no truck but do have a nice open trailer

The scarey part of this damn thread is the knowledge in the back of my head that, if things hold true to typical form, before this is finally all over with and the wheels of Steve's plane hit Costa Rican soil, I'll likely end up having this "medical laser and it's broken twin" sitting amongst a pile of other laser stuff with no real purpose or use... other that to say, "Yeah, I got one and it's badass..."

I'm bumping this thread. I've been to Steve's house recently and he's still got this stuff. There are closed-loop fiber-fed remote scan heads, a parascope mount with scanners that can be attached directly to the 'scope. Two are fully prepared, there are much spares. I know someone experienced, capable, and preferably somewhat local to DFW, should scoop these up.

Oh and I may be able to deliver at SELEM if a deal can get worked out ahead of time...
