I have a MIDI controller that has been working very nicely, Now I want to add a "laser harp" as a MIDI controller. I need help with what channels are and how to tell Live Pro that a MIDI command from controller is not the same an the other....

Instead of using ALL/ANY channels, set one as CH1 and the other as Ch2.
When you map the various controls, it will add the channel number at the front (iirc)
