Loose ground? Interference or something else?

Just got this projector from Winni and when i fired it upp it seem to live its own life.
The scanned image seem to get some kind of interference, not sure if its a bad tuning, a bad connection or something else?

Would be great if i get this projector up running before the weekend

Dodgey Y galvo,Y galvo wiring intermittent perhaps?

If you project an ILDA or static square pattern, can you track it down my carefully jiggling each connection?

Only tried it in stand alone mode so far, but i will give it a shot with ILDA when i get home in a couple of hours.
Is there any risk in swapping the cables from the X-galvo just to see if the problem is still there?

If you swap x/y amp outputs you will osolate the issue to the amps or input vs galvo and galvo cables. Tuning is isoptimised per galvo/amp set, so no damage, just possible non-optimal tuning.

I bet its just the crappy images stored on the DMX card..... Hopefully you wont see the same effect when running ILDA.......

Guess what You are right, i dont think it's the images, but it seem to be the DMX card, the projector works flawless when running thru ILDA

If you want to recreate the effect with ILDA, just loosen your ground connections!
