Default Sourcing cheap 12v cluster lasers?

I'm trying to find a source of 12v cluster lasers, for a festival area later this year, where they'll be used to 'paint' an outdoor area, rigged on a 'corale' of trucks, and hopefully run off the truck batteries.

All of the ones I've seen so far use around 5v or 5.4v. Does anyone know of any 12v ones?

    Thanks

    Hi Norty...

Not seen any 12v ones, however...

If in doubt... Give it a clout?

Go with the 5v ones and get some
Lm7805 5 vdc regulators. They are dirt cheap and easy to use.

    Thanks for the suggestions folks!

Does anyone know how many amps they need? The cigarette lighter to USB sockets look handy but only supply 1A

Probably only 1 laser per adapter. So with those we'll have 2A per laser which should be enough. I was just thinking that using the USB type adapter, they tend to only supply 1A and this may not be enough.
