    Default Optimizing Logos

I could use some help to optimize 2 logos..
The one with the lighthouse is flickering quite alot when making it bigger, and the label logo looks like crap.
I tried messing with the settings when converting them from images but without success.
I have DT30's and DT40's set up to run at 30 kpps.

I tried to export the frames from Beyond but i got an error and i also failed exporting it from quickshow so i can only attach the original images here.

Hope anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction

I'd split the images up and use both your projectors to project the whole image. I might loose the waves on the light house. Also play around with hand tracing the images to see if you can get better point counts than QuickTrace. If I had more time I'd take a go at them, but the boss has me doing overtime to get the new house "livable"...

The problem is definitely the waves.

Here you are, lighthouse at 33 fps:

    Lighthouse Beyond.zip

BTW as for text, text always is rubbish when it comes to frame rates. Try using scrolling text so its not all on the screen at the same time and avoid double lining when tracing.

@allthatwhichis, as i only have 2 dacs i can't really use them both at the same time to project the logo when throwing a party, i need to use one of them for other stuff at the same time.

@White-Light, thanx for trying, i loaded the cue but it seems black and when i opened it in the editor it was empty, not sure if i did something wrong or if the cue is empty.

You probably need to update Beyond as it imports and displays in my version.

I'm using the very latest version and some cues are not backwards compatible when saved.

I believe the change took place around build 423. Best contact Pangolin for a link.

Alternatively if you want to trace it for yourself, your altered original picture is here:

Don't worry about the feint lines, they won't trace. Just set Quick Trace to trace by colour and set number of colours to 2.

Pic removed to save space now problem solved.

    Thumbs up

Using 424 did the trick I forgot to change the desktop shortcut.. And removing the waves and text did solve the flickering!! Thanx a lot mate!

Will add some scrolling text later on
