    Default Startling revelation

I just happend to go back and look a few minutes ago and realized I knew nothing about and, I bought my first laser June 11, 2010. A little 220mW Meierlight RGB. Holy crap! That's only like a year and 10 months... !!

I guess I really AM a little whacked in the head. I think I now have about 32 or 33 things that lase (including a frickin' Sabre for God sake), a variance, a business license for "BB Laser Productions", 8 Pangolin control devices, I've covered 6000 miles going to LEM's, etc., etc., etc.

This is a sick addiction. Hell... I'm younger than c@sio 445 diodes, really.

Aaron.. please insert the big one here. -> This little ain't cuttin' it.

Sorry, just needed to share that little bit of reality as it just kinda blew my mind.

Brad, you can send me all your unused stuff for safekeeping. I'll even pay shipping costs and charge nothing for stocking them.

Basically zero living expenses, nothing on credit cards and $40k in my checking account when I started. I'm afraid that's no longer the case! The ONLY saving grace is I have a built in client source that comes to me for laser shows and a venue to run them. Now...as long as I STOP buying crap and focus on paying myself back, I'll be fine. But we all KNOW how that works. LOL (Did someone say OPSL?)

I've been saying it for awhile but, there WILL be some things appearing on the Buy/Sell thread soon. I'm finding stuff in boxes that I know I'm never honestly going to ever find time to do anything with. A laserharp? C'mon. It was a good idea at the time.

Stop buying "crap" and reinvest the money earned in better (and more) equipment!

Sounds like your doing well, congrats!

BTW, zero living expenses? Living with Mom and Dad or do you have a rich Sugar Baby?

Moved back with parents shortly before my dad died a few years ago. I'm an only child, both parents were only children and we've got a couple houses, boats etc. Mom's in her mid 70's and dealing with everything was too much for her so, she likes having someone around to help when she needs to go somewhere at night or, can't figure out an error mesage on the computer or, a toilet flush valve needs repair, or move something heavy...that sort of thing. It's NOT out of necessity and I hate the stigma of being 47 and "living with mom" but, I'm never home, my laundry is done, and dinner is made one the rare nights I'm home. I have to listen to the stories and minutia of what happened during the day when I get home, which can be a supreme bore ass but, the trade off is worth it.

    Power to ya!

I have a good friend in the same boat, his Dad died a few years back and his mom is now blind. Good karma to you.
