    Default Pangolin LD2000 installation problem

Hey, Ive finally gotten that all important piece of hardware and am trying to install it on my dell laptop/dell docking station.
Im running Windows 7 on the laptop, and something on the docking station is vista related.
the install goes all the way thru to the last thirty seconds and then I get this error that says it cannot continue with the install.
    the error is this

    D:\LD2000\\SUPPORT\PUBLISHER\PANGOLIN\PUBFILES\JAV AANIM\JAVAANIM.html

What am I missing? or what dont I have installed?
What do I need to do to fix it?
Do I need to call Pangolin for advice?

Thanks in advance for any help guys.
    Will there be three phase!!!!

I'll need to do a bit of digging to figure out what that file is; looks like a help file on your install DVD isn't readable and causing the problem. Might have to ship you a new install DVD.

    Edit:
Yea, it is part of the help file system (I think) based on what I find. I am not sure if just getting you that file will help or if more files past that one are impacted also. How does the readable side of that disc look; scratched, dirty? Might be able to "Rub" the disc and get it to install correctly.

Andy, his problem was with the installation DVD. He posted here because of the number of Pangolin users that also post here. He also used the contact form from our website to send us a support request. I saw the problem post here and choose to respond here in case other members might find the resolution helpful. As former Pangolin dealer you know the numerous support avenues available to Pangolin End Users.

This isn't forum hijacking, it is someone trying to find help on the best resource for lasers and laser show production on the web and that person getting assistance.

I see your reply post here and to several other threads as forum hijacking; if you have a problem with Pangolin, do us all a favor and post your own seller review thread and stop pissing on other people's threads with these lil nit picky jabs that give no indication what your real problem with the company is. Share with everyone here what you did on The Laserist List.

Does Pangolin not let you download the full install? I can understand not including the extra's like shows but why can I not find a download to do a fresh install of Pangolin LD2000 and Showtime software?

No website carries the answer to every possible problem and there's plenty of technical support from the CEO himself if you email, but then again you know that.
