    Hi Al,

Thanks they look very good. Will check in the hall this afternoon if the 1 or 2 beam rotating beam is nicer.
And yes sir i do owe you a stroopwaffle. Will now have some food and then start packing my stuff.

These are the pictures made last year when i did the show with McCarrot and SrS.

Those look good Al; I still have to get to this as it has been a bit busy at the office. I'll try to get something going tonight.

    Hi Al,

Yesterday was the show. All went fine.
The cues i wasn't able to use unfortunately, although they looked very good but they were only outputting like 10% light on the projectors.
So i hacked up something myself last minute, which didn't look that nice ofcourse, but was visible.
Didn't know how to adjust these for more power, tried upping the point count, that had some strange results, (more beams but not more power)

So the show went fine, but could have been better if i was able to use your cues ;-) They look stunning.
When i did New Shape, and draw a line for instance and made it into points, reduced to 2 i also had two points which i could then rotate around Z to make it into 2 chasing beams i realize now after a nights sleep.

Under pressure yesterday i wasn't able to come up with this, so i used a rotating line. Public liked it.

Made one mistake during the show (actually 2). During Another brick in the wall when the children's choir walked up the stage i wanted to copy a cue.
I clicked the cue and BAM there it was. Oops, didn't put my fader on the novation down (or pressed Disable laser output). Damn..
So it turned on and i turned it off.

And in Sorrow the guitarist started playing right away with the guitar, what normally is 20seconds in. But the audience liked my interpretation i think.
There were around 2000 people !

Tonight the amount of people will double to 4000. Definately my biggest gig ever !
Pictures will follow, the audio rental company had a fella with a cam walking around talking really cooooool pictures (which i all will get !)

Now i will eat, and tonight the next show !

thanks everyone for there help, will spend more time on beyond finding out how to make cues myself.
This dented my selfconfidence a bit ;-)

    Hi Dimitri,

Which Build of Beyond are you using?

The engine changed at 423 and cues produced by versions after 423 don't work or don't work properly on earlier versions. That might explain the brightness.

The cones I produced you had 200 points which for a size of 45 should be bright. I usually use 300 (which is the max) for a size of 95 and that produces walls about as solid as you can get.

I'll stick them on my projector here this afternoon and take a look but they'll only be projected against the wall as I have no safe way of projecting beams at the moment and also have no working red so I'm blue / green only.

Anyway, I'll take a look but in the meantime have a look at your build number.

    Al.

BTW if you're stuck build wise, I can give you a walk through on how to construct the cues in your build over Skype

ARE YOU USING ANY PRE-SET SHOWS ? Build 425 has a problem on the timeline. Unsure if earlier builds affected so don't use 425 if doing pre-set show.

    I am using 1.50 build 399.
I think that might explain it. I didn't dare to use the newest i have for a liveshow for 2000 people.
Did had some crashes during setup of the quicktarget beams and repetitively saving of zone settings.
During the show it went fine.

Also noticed when using the novation that sometimes the slider for visible points although at 0 on my novation was displaying a 100 procent on the laptop.
Upon sliding upwards from 0 to 100 the bar suddenly jumped to just above zero and moved up. So it was working as expected, but the displaying part was not correct and misleading. When i pressed Disable Laser output, then quickly slide up and down the slider the displaying was correct again. Seems like a display updating issue.

Will see what i can reproduce and send to Bill again for future improvement.

Dimitri if you want to get on Skype I'll take you through the cue creation so you make them in Build 399.

I'll be back on about 2pm GMT if you want to.

    I'm back.

I've also just checked, the cues are full brightness on my projector.

I'll walk you through creating them over Skype if you want so we can create them together in your version. Will be quick as I can just tell you the settings I've used.
