I have 2 QM2000's needing a new home. 1 Intro and 1 Pro. Both are installed in Magma enclosures that plug into a Cardbus slot on a laptop. It's plug and play under Win7. Asking ~75% of Pangolin list price - $1100 for Intro or $3750 for Pro. Price includes the enclosure and insured UPS ground shipping within the US.

I also have a few extra Magma enclosures with the Cardbus interface if anyone's looking for those.

Please explain. Is this a satisfactory alternative to the .net box? What kind of ducats are we talking about?

It's a small enclosure that you plug your QM2000 PCI card into which is connected to a Cardbus card that plugs into your laptop. Similar to .net, but limited to the ~1 meter long cable that it comes with. I don't have a convenient picture, but you can check the Magma web site for details - http://www.magma.com/1slot.asp They're pretty expensive new, but I get $250 for used (tested and guaranteed working) units.

    Interesting item.

I can ship by EMS to Mexico City for around $50. PM me your address and I'll get an accurate shipping quote.

    Thinking.....

I think I'm really going to need the USB capability of a .net box versus the Cardbus. Damn. I'll investigate.

Doesn't the .net box connect to the ethernet network and not the USB?

Does the macbook pro have a card bus or express card slot??

    Cheers
