Default Daylight robbery - eStop switches

Why do they cost so much??

I just had to buy 2 DPST 2NC switches, and they cost me £30 each!

What's even worse is that the same product is £5+vat more expensive from Farnell, than it is from CPC where I bought it (and they're essentially the same company!)

Farnell had a better range of specs/docs available, but I think it's poor practise charging more on your more 'professional' oriented site, than it is on the consumer one.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

My vote for the best manufacturer of human machine interfaces is EAO.
Their switches are the nicest I've ever worked with and their illuminated interfaces are just plain cool:

    They have buttons.
    They light up.
Hardly worth making a song and dance (and flashy commercial) about.

E-stops are tested to higher standards I would think.

They are a "safety" device, that always lifts the price, but not as much as sticking "medical" or "military" use only on it!
