    drivers are a problem, i need a high sided driver for 660 diodes.

    p3 is high sided but i aint paying $35 per driver when i need 15

    good news, you don't need 15

    get badpip's quad driver for 60 euros a piece. this will get you around 2.5 amps per channel to play with.
    that gets you a total of 40 diodes if driven at 250ma

    What kind of lenses are they using to bring down the beam size in the last picture?

    You will need to get used to replacing a diode a week.

    The lenses are probably two planeo/convex singlets with a 2:1 to 3:1 reducing magnification.

    more drivers = more power

    diodes not being perfectly matched means the more you run from one driver the less power you will get.

    id like to use no more than 2 diodes per driver



    as for lens im assuming you refering to telescopics then 3:1

    why would i need to keep chaning diodes, dont over drive them and they will be fine. ive used 660 diodes lots and dont have them pop all the time

    You should go for 666 diodes! Just saying.....
