Default Laser Case with Flightcase: Sale/Trade

I have had this case sitting around forever and have no plans to use it so its time to let it go... Only issue with this case is that since it has been sitting around so long I have lost some of the screws. You may need to take a trip to home depot to find the missing screws...also, this case does not come with a good baseplate...you will need to add your own. other than that you should love the case. Here are some pics so you can see what you are getting( keyswitch with 2 keys....DMX in and out...power switch..2x ILDA connectors...2x DB9 connectors..DMX SHOW CARD....and 3-4 fans)... any questions just ask...

    Weight(KG):23KG(in flight case)
    SIZE:60*17*16

Im asking $75+S&H obo OR trade for something scanner related.

    Count me down as 'interested'.

I have to finish my finals and check with everyone that's helping me to see if this will fit my build. I think I have to decide on galvos and all the other hardware up front before I go buying a case. But this looks nice.

If someone wants to grab this first, though, no worries. I'm sorry I can't jump on this right away.

    Some questions:

    * What's the base plate do, and where do I get one / how much does it cost?
    * Will this be cool enough for 1 W lasers?
    * How sturdy is it? I'm going to be trucking my build around everywhere with me and it needs to stand some abuse.

    Thanks!

As long as you travel with the laser inside the flightcase I don't see any problems...the case itself could be more sturdy, but I think its more than enough for a smaller scanner. The baseplate is just a hunk of metal that everything gets mounted to, I normally just go to ebay and order a flat 3/8 piece of aluminum that will fit inside the case...then I mount it inside the case using some standoffs. I have never used the baseplates that come with these Chinese cases, they are never good enough. If you get this case remember that you will need to make it work, its missing a few(non essential, but still important) screws. and to mount the baseplate you will need to mount the standoffs.

also dont forget if you are using it in public you have to do a product report on it, get a show variance etc
