    Hey Frank;

    Please give Mario (Ragdoll) a shout and see if you can coordinate with him. He's got some DMX gear that he wants to bring as well (planning to set it all up in the cafeteria). Maybe the two of you can work out a two-man training session, with one focus on DMX controllers (lighting boards, like the behrenger unit you and I have), and one focus on DMX control from within Quickshow/Beyond/LD-2000/LivePro... Sound doable?

    PS: Added your name to the list in the first post...

    Hey Adam -

    A thought: *IF* anyone will have either a dual-ADAT and/or HD-24 (..you'd have to send me a drive to copy-to.. and I have some dubbing to do, soon..) and a dual-channel XY-sys (..well, really, you could simply use 2x pjs..) I am willing to *loan* Laserium's 45 min educational 'L.A.S.E.R. Amazement' show, which is narrated by Jim Ladd, of Los Angeles' KLOS-fame, and features synced-to-narration / hand-animated scenes about how lasers work / some 'mild physics' behind the operation, etc, and a host of really-great Show Modules / Shows.. there's at least one 'pure beam / aerials-show' (Peter Gunn..), and, if done RP, with Scrim, some of the others will work really-well as 'both' (ie: Friday I'm in Love - Cure..)..

    ..the only 'caviat', is that there is at *least* one song (Adagio #6) that, unless you have a lumia-projector to 'improvise-with', there's nothing on any of the RGB-channels - it was designed to-be a 'lumia-only' song, played on one of the concert-series Laserium-PJs, with a full-complement of lumia / scan-thru fx, etc.. And, there is at least one other, (iirc) where, one or the other scan-channels does not 'have much data', as it was designed, again, to have a scan overlaying a lumia, or, 'alternating-between', etc..

    ..But, I am sure, that if Mr Murphy and/or Mr Zurcher, et al, are there, with their respective lumia-luver rigz you guys could work it out, and, IMHO, it, a) would be an *awesome* 'baseline' to springboard off of.. and b) the kids would love it, and would not 'feel' the 45 min - it's a very-entertaining show, even-being somewhat 'dated', and c) it would be more a 'full-fledged' demo (..also being able to show lumia / layered-fx, w/ scans, vs just-scans..) and be a more well-rounded 'what laser shows are-about', than just-scans, only..

    ..wish I could bring even a CSDL-projector, but... no-way gonna happen.. *way* too-much on my plate to even think about attending SELEM this year, so.. maybe someday... but if I can at least, 'contribute' this for SELEM '12, will-be happy-to.. ...IF of-interest.. PS - Show will be for *playback only*.. sorry, but no-can-do on any 'copies' or other 'borrowing'..

    Lemme know yer thoughts.. I can see about trying to find some 'video-clips' of any of the show-modules, contained, within... It's a fun show... One, in-particular, is 'worth the price of admission', alone - the 'Galaxy Song' by the Monty-crew... hilarious (..yet, educational.. ) module.. Here's the full track-listing.. http://www.laserium.com/music/Amazement.html

    I think DZ's setup will do the shows justice, dual turbo track scan heads and a whitelight?

    Yep, I've got the above photo as well, and mine will be at SELEM too.

    @Jon - that post was prior to our last convo but, yes... patiently waiting a *proposed* target date.

    Jon;

    Love the idea of running the laserium show for the school, but so far I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone in charge. Reggie has left the auditorium for a position with the local symphony orchestra, and there is a bit of a power vacuum in his wake. Will stay in touch with you though as we get closer.

    I agree that DZ's projector would be perfect for this sort of thing...

    Do you have a UGC for each of your ADAT then so you can image 2 heads perfect on top of one another as will be needed for the laserium show?

    Between you and I, we should have the covered anyway. (Gregs got three raw boards listed on eBay BTW.)
