HEY TO ALL! Sorry for not posting sooner. I just had knee surgery and was a little laid up.
I want to give everyone a quick rundown of the Audio for this year. I am stepping up the sound again this year for both rooms. Any extra help on Thursday will be Very welcome due to my weight restrictions. I will have four EAW 13' folded horn subs for the auditorium ( 3x3x4 dual 12" subs @300 lbs each) Each12" will be fed a constant 4200 watts each via Crown I-Tech HDs. Again there will be either 4 or 6 Mackie HD 1531'3 for the tops and two other HD's 1801's (each top and sub are about 1000 Watts) for available for dead spot fills anywhere needed. These Mackies are completely new from last year and are the latest H revisions and sound twice a clear! Im assuming we will have Franks main board so if that's not the case let me know. For the Cafeteria There will be 2 Mackie HD 1531's and four HD 1801's( two under each top. I can also go way more nuts and brig up to another four EAW subs for that room and a few Klipsch folded horn mids depending upon the amount of GUARANTEED help that will be on hand. No I am not nuts I just feel like it aint worth doing if your going to half ass it! This is also my way of thanking everyone on PL whose knowledge base I have soaked up over thast three years. I will also bring a up to four 1200's couple CDJ 1000s and a few tracktr/virtual DJ laptops dedicated for music mixing along with a Pioneeer DJM 909 and 1000. I would really like to play for everyone again this year and have had my Label artists producing a prolific amount of original and remixed tunes especially for this year. I will also have available 4 Martin Atomix 3000 with gel color scrollers for use anywhere. Thought thy might look cool somewhere. Please dont be afaid to pick my brain if ANYONE has any questions. Sound lighting DJ related or otherwise. I enjoy giving back where I can.

Matthew wants to come so, if you are risking ordering shirts for the four of us that are *actually* paid and registered... I need a 3X for him. Just let me know the cost.
Adam what would you say to me bringing e s d mats for tinkering/fix my laser please area and the buy sell trade area. I would bring the required plug in strap to the mat then to the ground and plug into the mat wrist straps. These could be given away at the end. If I am unable to make it. I would be able to ship them to someone to bring for me.

Both sad and hard to believe that Texas, being such a huge state has so few willing to make the effort to make the drive to SELEM.. especially in light of the fact I will not be going unless I find 2 or more to carpool..
SELEM takes planning to attend and that means in advance- not in the last days before it begins.. time is running out for me...anybody out there with some stones??
Len,
If I were driving, I would be happy to give you a ride. Keep the faith - we're still seven weeks away from SELEM.

Lenny (No-Esc);
Anti-static mats sound like a good idea. I'm all for it.
Mario;
Holy crap dude! That's a lot of gear. I'll make sure we have enough people to help unload. (I'm not supposed to be lifting heavy things either, but we still have a few members who haven't ruined their bodies just yet!)
Len (Hak);
What about rodman1369? He said he left you a message on LPF. If he's going, that's one down and one to go. Keep in touch and let me know how things shake out.
James;
Sorry to hear that dude. Good luck on the appeal though. (There's still hope, right?) BTW, you missed one hell of a show in Myrtle Beach this weekend! Maybe next time...
And for the rest of you - SELEM is coming up fast, so sign up now!
Adam
thanks guys- yes Rod is going as I hoped but wants to fly--still looking..
Looks like I will have to pass on this one and await TEXLEM (closer to home). Too many other trips planned this year and car breaking costs killing me!
Come On Lotto!!!! Rodman
