Default Stanwax DS3AF - Axis flip board

Just a quick one to say I finally installed one of these nice axis flip board into one projector, and it works flawlessly!

You won't find a better and easier way to add the axis-flip function to your projector than this one. Just insert it between the breakout board X/Y outputs and the scanner amps X/Y inputs, add +/-24V from your scanner's PSU, two push-buttons, and this is it.

Then, to flip an axis, just push the corresponding button, and it will remain into the selected state at the next power-up. To swap X and Y axis, push any button for 3 seconds, and you will be able to mount your projector at 90°.
The flip process is really clean, no distorted output at the switching moment, unlike when you use the usual way with some inverting switch.

About building quality, as usual, it's very nice. And being solid state relays (no mechanical parts), no worries for reliability or contact degradation. Best of all, it's a really small board, so you will for sure find room for it

    "with Digital Axis Flip Technology."

Was that idea borrowed from the Turbo Encabulator?
