I very much enjoyed the show.
The keyboard / synth keys effect was really original.
I liked the choice of music too, upbeat and energetic.
    Will there be three phase!!!!

Great show, great effects however I can't agree with the originality bit for the keys.

I have a similar show sat on my desktop for over a year now (one I originally bought to the last year's Show Lem but it didn't work well due to the projection angle used at the LEM, use of multiple projectors and the fact that the music wouldn't sync) and which I stole the idea for from Gatecrasher - that show is currently waiting final adjustment in Beyond once I've worked out a keying bug with Alexey.

However, I first saw this effect a long time ago in a video from Gatecrasher from May 2007 which is where I got my inspiration from:

    1 minute 6 seconds in:

That said, great work though Gabe as being a nice show apart, it takes a lot of hard work to do the keying and to keep the beams bright but not too flickery as for some reason it plays hell with the scanners when you draw a fan in this manner ( I presume it's the scan path that becomes the problem).

You did a really good job there!

I liked it. Looked very well synchronized.

I don't know a whole lot about projection shows but is it just me or did it look like that at a few points the camera took some fairly bright direct hits like the one at 31 and 39 seconds?

Here is the one @ 39 seconds.

yeah, no I knew it wasn't a "new" Effect, I just wanted to see if I could figure it out in moncha, seeing as there is only 3 lines available in the show line I had to figure out how to get it to work.

I had seen it before though, so it was less of a creative idea and a technology challenge.

Yes, that Effect was a last min idea, and because of the green in the projector, the only way to get the white in the middle was to crank up the point amount, i've lowered it since the recording though, so it should be a little less powerful.

You did it really well though. Very impressive keying.
