    ok I have to ask...
    I am using a 12vdc power supply out of a cpu. Can I run these diodes at the same time= 3vcd 500mw 638nm, a 1 watt 808nm 3vcd, and the 445nm@300mw@5vcd and my 405nm aslo at 5vdc, all on the quad driver correct?

    I have designed a single channel version, but haven't had time to prototype it yet.

    It's a brand new design, 5A output current, 100KHz modulation. 22x44mm board.

    Also need to find a place to get them manufactured. I have just started studying, so won't have time to assemble everything myself anymore.

    So - it's on the horizon, just can't say when.

    Sure, no problem. At 12V it will run pretty hot though, so make sure to heatsink it well.

    I can run the 5vdc.. it's 20a.. not so much voltage to eat?

    I believe the key thing to remember with these diodes is that they're current controlled (not voltage). The different voltages are "taken care of" by the separate channels of the driver. You just have to adjust the bias and gain (current) controls to match your requirements.

    These are great drivers

    Much better - depends on the Vdrop of the 405 though...

    The other diodes will be fine with 5V, only one way to find out if it's enough for the 405

    A quad would likely be cheaper (as it's developed and readily available) and you can leave channels unused without affecting the other channels. Alternatively wait for the single and get one with a dual.

    The Standby Beam Suppression feature on these is great.

    Ok nerds, I am about to clip all of the leads and remove the pump circuits from the RGB lasers in my projector. 500mw 650nm, 500mw 450nm, and 100mw> 532nm.
    The question is, when I switch over to the quad driver with heatsink, as I set the thresholds in place before solder over the SBS, can I wire the diodes in first and adjust them in circuit? will they lase as I bring up the current?
