One of the opening bands for the Iron Butterfly show I did last weekend.

My pair of 3w purples and Slicklasers came with me and brought a pair of 5w full color lasers

Before you trash me too bad, this was the first time either of us had heard this song. The whole gig was just wing it and whatever felt right.

..well.. the song was titled MAGIC CARPET RIDE!!! ..or is that the band? Either way.. if the rug..I mean, SHOE fits...

I tell ya.. if / whenever I go bald, I'm straight-up goin *tennis-ball*.. no rugs for this cat, nope... Telly Savalas and a lollypop, baby!

Magic Carpet Ride is the name of the band. They are a "licensed by Steppenwolf" tribute band, whatever the hell that means.

Guys with leather pants should not designate themselves as the show MC, unless you like to know the entire 15 min history of each band for their intros. Too much cocaine I think!
