    Default Alesis HD24

    I can't believe I'm posting this but, I think perhaps I'm looking for an Alesis HD24 and a Raven Systems Transcoder. Hell.. I don't even know what a Raven Systems Transcoder is but, it sounds like I'm going to need one.

    Any thoughts? Leads?

    you can just use a modded adat connected to the HD24.

    ebay is your friend for the HD24's $700 ~ $800 last i checked.

    Wait, what are you trying to do? If you want to play ADAT tape shows back talk to Steve, Frank, John, maybe Dave (DZ) and they can tell you what to get. If you got something else planned... let us know man and I am sure someone'll set you down the best path.

    Well.... after a number of recent emails, I'm excited to announce BB Laser Productions is about to become a client of LFI and start a regular monthly schedule of laser shows. The plans have been in the works for some time and I'm excited at the prospect. There is still a ways to go but, there is some equipment I'll need to get my hands on. I already have two modified ADAT's that polishedball has finished and ready to send me but most of how they're distributing these days is HD24.

    i personally would advise against a raven

    good luck getting a cheap HD-24... I check craigslist every now and again hoping for a deal... but ebay seems to run ~$800~$1000 for a unit
