    Iirc he has had flakey firmware issues with it doing unpredictable stuff. So more the product, but let's see what he says.

    I have never dealt with the company so I have no idea about the company... it was not my Raven so its simply my experience trying to use the thing...

    in my opinion it caused more problems than it fixed... I had several issues where images that would project fine out of my QM2k would get really messed up when going through the raven...

    it seems much easier (and cheaper) to just modify an adat and use it as your DAC

    a UGC is a great thing to have, but not really 100% necessary... and there are much better UGC's in the world

    it is really important to have some kind of "knob box" as we lovingly referred to the one in the planetarium, to control things like scan size

    By UGC I was thinking the LSDI UGC the analog based in chain corrector. I know Brad owns one already.
    or even the 4X, from when i modded it to balanced from unbalanced.
