    Default flex mounting

I am looking for a source for 4-5 flex style mounts with the foot extending back-away from the optical mounting surface for a very tight knife edging application. Any ideas?

Check with Dave at one time I recall him having the reverse foot flex mount.

I don't think so because I usually order from him and he did not offer this option. But... it can't hurt to check again.

If you are super-stuck and there are no off-the-shelf solutions, I could mill up a small batch to any spec you need. I currently have a backlog of about 10 days to get through first; but if you aren't in an immediate rush, drop me a message.

    All the best,

    cut the front off?
Sure, I could and then mount from underneath, but I was hoping to really cram the prism close to the 2mm "Dave" lens ( even milling down the diode mount and the lens barrel to TIGHTLY knife edge some G71's and a rear foot would be the easiest. I can't mill these very narrow saw cuts needed for a compact mount like the typical flex mount.

That's very kind of you. Do you have the general specs for a typical flex mount or would you have to program in all the values? Big hassle or not a big deal? Not a super rush, just trying to complete a satellite projector for July 4.

I have some regular flex mounts drawn up; it shouldn't be too hard to extend the foot and re-post it for the new G-code.
See how it goes, if nothing turns up "in stock", then give me the nod and I'll rattle some out.

Pat Laserman532 has/had some micro 3 axis mounts with reversed foot. Maybe not quite 'tight' enough for a knife edge setup, I use them for steering

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
