Default Waveplate and PBS(Polarizing Beam Splitter Cubes) High quality and Low price

Core Optronics is a professional manufacturer with high quality of waveplates and PBS. we can supply you a series of waveplates such as: Low Order Waveplate; Zero Order Waveplate; Dual Wavelength Waveplate; Achromatic Waveplate.

We can supply any dimension and wavelength waveplates and pbs cubes with good flatness, good beam deviation and good efficience.

Our PPC polarizing beam splitter cubes are derived from a unique combination of IBS coatings, ultraprecise fabrication capabilities and our patent-pending, epoxy-free bonding technology hemically Activated Direct Bonding (CADB) which results in a zero-bondline thickness. In addition to the standard sizes and wavelengths shown, we can produce high-energy cube beamsplitters from 1x1 mm2 in size, and in a wide variety of materials including fused silica, BK7, YAG, and other optical glasses and crystals.
Whether you need 10 or 10,000 pieces, our precision wafer-based processes result in high yields and competitive costs, especially at higher volumes. These high-precision assemblies have been widely used in telecommunications, semi-conductor and biomedical applications where transmission efficiency, extinction ratio and wavefront quality are all critical specifications.

All of our polarizing beam splitter cubes are epoxy free, making them suitable for high power applications with energy densities exceeding 10 J/cm2 at 1064 nm, including the super-broad bandwidth polarizer and the broadband, low dispersion prism polarizers shown below. Both of these polarizing beam splitters are fused silica, designed with 12.7mm x 12.7mm input faces and offer average transmission near 98% and average extinction ratios greater than 10,000:1!

Applications for the PBS-GVD low dispersion polarizer include regenerative amplifiers and optical isolators for ultrafast lasers, optical coherence tomography, microscopy, and imaging. The innovative shape of the prisms allows ultra-broadband pulses to travel in and out of the polarizer without refraction, thus avoiding spatial dispersion of the broadband pulse (prism effect).

Our price for waveplates is as follows,

    Achromatic waveplate, 145~160 USD/pc

Optical contacted zero order waveplate, 58~68 USD/pc

Air spaced zero order waveplate, 68~78 USD/pc

BTW, our unit price of waveplate above is standard unit price. Here are volume unit price as follows,

    Quantity: 20 pcs
    Unit price: x95%

    Quantity: 40 pcs
    Unit price: x90%

    Quantity: 100 pcs
    Unit price: x80%

So actually, our unit price depends on quantity.

    Lead time: 2~3 weeks.

Payment: 60% prepayment for first time cooperation.

And the price of pbs cube is depend on its dimension, wavelength, quantity, etc.

If you are interested in our products,I will PM you the price.

^^ What he said. Kinda useless without some idea of price. I would be in for a cube or three.

I'd be in for a few waveplates (need to rotate the polarization 90 degrees on some diodes for a dual rig), and maybe some PBS cubes as well. But we need prices!

    Hi,glad to get your infomation!
According to your description, our engineer suggest you to use 1/2L zero order waveplate to rotate polarization light 90 deg.

Before we send our best quotation to you , We need to know the dimension, wavelength, and quantity you need.
And we have 4 kinds of zero order waveplates, please let me know which kind is your demand.

    Air-spaced zero order waveplates.
    Optical contacted zero order waveplates.
    Glue contacted zero order waveplates.
    Achromatic zero order waveplates.

These are good prices. You need to identify the dimensions that qualify for these prices. As our plates are used at several specific narrow band wavelengths the air spaced or optically contacted wave plates should be made available for 445nm, 532nm 635nm and 650nm. Achromatic wave plates will be less frequently useful.

For my own use a 20mm clear aperture coated for 445nm would be very nice.

    More questions:
    • Are the half waveplates mounted? If so, are dimensions or a CAD drawing available? Is the price you quoted for mounted or unmounted half waveplates?
    • Do you have any plots of retardance vs wavelength for your achromatic half waveplates?
    • Is there a minimum order quantity on any of the above products?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

our standard dimensions are Dia 8mm, 12.7mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25.4mm. And unit price is similar. Dia 25.4mm waveplate is only 10 USD higher than 12.7mm.
For example, your Dia 20mm, half waveplate optical contacted zero order for 445nm is 63 USD/pc. Our guarantee retardation tolerance is L/300 at least for single wavelength.
If you find our retardation tolerance is not good enough as we said, we will replace new element for you at free and we will pay for the additional UPS freight.

1 Our normal mount is 3 USD/pc and standard dimension is Dia 12.7mm and Dia 25.4mm which is according to the waveplate aperture area. If you need mount, we can offer our waveplate with mount. And please plus 3 USD/pc for the mount.
We can mark some special drawing on the mount surface by laser, but the minimum order is 20 pcs for the special drawing mounts.
2 Of course we have, we can send our retardation tolerance plots with our waveplates together to you when we make the shipment.
3 For most of wavelengths( 355nm, 445nm, 532nm, 638nm, 800nm, 1030nm, 1064nm etc.), no minimum order demand. But for some special rare application wavelength, I think we need a 5~10 pcs order at least. Anyway, we still can negotiate about price according to the quantity of waveplates you will order.
