I am selling a mobolazer gbeam motherboard that can be used to rebuild/DIY a mobolazer or can be used as an 8 channel DMX to TTL driver.

Requires 5Vdc input, has DMX input, and controls 8 channels of output. Each TIP120 transistor output was used to drive an actuator for beam steering. Actuators not included. Board also has lm317T based adjustable output diode driver (G-Beam originally had 5mw 532nm) with TTL modulation input. I measured LD output current 38.5ma min to 77.8ma max. Output current may be higher because the red 20mw I used for a test load probably doesn't draw enough current to max out the driver.

5V DC output is also provided on header pins for DC Fan - I measured at 4.92Vdc.

Check out a video of the board in action driving 8 LEDs for testing - #1 http://youtu.be/XVWRRrlXR-Y #2 http://youtu.be/5NUZtIG8pr8 The board is running DMX from my USB DMX DONGLE.

I made the 8 LED bar-graph to test the outputs w/o having to put it in one of my G-Beams. The LEDs are not included.

On the board I'm selling, the trim pots have been replaced with jumper wires since the fine adj was not needed for simple on/off of effects (originally had trim pots on each output channel to fine tune actuator positions - easy to remove jumpers and replace with trim pots)

For Sale $50.00 + $5.00 Priority Mail. I will also include a printed copy of the board schematic if you want, which I traced from the board and redrew in a PCB layout / schematic CAD program.

I have copied the EEPROM contents and I'm waiting on a new EEPROM delivery to burn the contents as a backup copy. I have not tried to look at the assembly code yet, but if you're interested in the binary file send PM. I also have generated a parts list / bill of materials which I can print out as well.

PM me if you are interested. In addition to cash, I am always open to trades for anything from High End Systems / Lightwave Research old Laser Chorus / Viper such as HeNe tubes, beam stop solenoids, empty cases, power supply bricks, extender board - have seen the schematic but have never seen one or even a picture of one, cables, laser heads & laser head parts, etc.

I mostly lurk here and not well known on PL, so I can list these on Ebay if needed for "Ebay Buyer Protection". I'm djeric68 on EBAY and have 100% positive feedback w/ over 400 transactions.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
