Maplins Slim Bench Power Supply broken :(

one of my n93cx switching mode power supplies from maplins is fooked.

first the lcd display started to go funny, then the other night when set to 5v to use on a modulation line it blew 3 drivers and melted the wire -






these are great bits of kit and not cheap either, i have been trying to find who makes em but no luck sadly. anyone know much about these and if they are fixable?

Funny, my bench PSU just blew two laser diodes and died last night.

Sorry to hear about your PSU problem. I have one of the Maplin ones as well, but luckily it's been ok.

ive got two from maplins one is 3-4 year old and working perfectly, the other one which is just over a year old has dies.
