    Heard about hail storms causing thousands of cars to be written off and causing house damage and then found this on Youtube (here goes everyone's insurance premiums again):

    Not quite Texas sized but big for the uk:

    I feel for you!

    We had a similar storm 3 years ago, both our cars had similar damage.

    A crew came in from the US to fix thousands of cars, the paint free way. Amazing really.
    This space for rent.

    Luckily not my car, I was a long way away. Just some vids off Youtube I came across after reading of damage on several car forums.

    I could be mistaken but insurance companies class this as an act of God and don't pay out?

    In this US comprehensive insurance covers acts of god.
