    No prob acarusi Argons are getting cheaper by the minute. Too bad it wasn't like that back in the 80's lol .

    I love argons and they are getting cheaper. The only bad thing is, PCAOMs are still pretty pricey

    Hum, too bad no one knows that a ordinary AOM with a modded/hacked driver makes a great ONE COLOR AT A TIME or TWO COLOR modulation device. You do have to own a RF power meter and a frequncy synth or a AO driver with FM to do it. Once you do that, you can order crystals and a power combiner to make it repeatable.

    A modulatable 488 and 457 blue would be cool on even a modern projector.

    I'm not saying the throughput is great, but I have done it in tests.

    Adding a Littrow Prism and FM to a AO does neat things too.

    still have a pile of the aoms and drivers from
    the good olde days-

    yes pre pcaom we used to split r g and b
    pass each line through and aom and
    recombine the beams just like everybody
    does now with dicros and solid state
    go big or go home
