Playing too much soccer as a kid and using my brain as the ball...
    LOVE IT!

Like the old "Cheech and Chong" routine where they're pretending to be a couple of dogs... One says to the other, "Hey, let's go chase cars and get high off the exhaust!" The other replies, "Oh, no way man... That stuff can give you BRAIN DAMAGE!" "Brain Damage from car exhaust?" "No, brain damage from getting your head run over by the rear wheels, man!"

    Priceless...

I have sent you a few e-mails including the one about the fuse. I don`t know why you are not getting them.
So I wonder why you don't write to me and find help on forums.
Now I understand why you are so frustrating 8) 8) 8)
I am so sorry. Please write my another email address: jianpeixu@hotmail.com I think that is ok.
Or using the forum PM write to me.
Also I send the email to you always back ,so I let RICK tell you the email alway back,do you get the message from RICK?

Sorry if I took out my frustrations on you and this forum. I hope you understand.
Real,I understand ,les's forget the displeasure .Don't think about again what happen, continue enjoy DT scanner.
And I will provide the best service ,support and products.

I appreciate that Jian is doing his best to participate here in these forums.
    Thank you.I like photonlexicon :P

Jian does have a point though: if the drive voltage is set correctly, the fuse should never blow, which makes me wonder why it did fail... I guess you will have to watch it closely and see if it happens again.
Most when the glavo lost the feedback signal, the shaft will go to ONE direction only the current and torsional force very high ,not in center.I put a rubber for protect the the shaft,so that time the fuse take effect .anyone understand?hehe

What are the differences in performance between the two, and how much does it cost to upgrade? (I'm just curious...)
    Driver
1.Driver and output speed matches together.(Driver is set too fast or output speed of computer is too slow. The inner circle is larger than the green square.)
2.Add the RC4200 for high frequency safeguard.(Old driver without RC4200 safeguard)
    3.RoHs standard.(commonly)
    4.more precision (difference not much)
5.the performance same with the CT's driver(The old driver set to fast,so The inner circle is larger than the green square)
6.symmetrically signal input.(The old driver without symmetrically intput)

    Galvo(more importance)
1.the axis can endure max 120 Celsius.(old axis 80 Celsius).
    2.coil can endure max 180 Celsius(old coil 90 Celsius).
3.new coil facture .more symmetry,so will more precision .
4.new assemble technique ,very very low vibration(noise).(the old galvo still hear some noise, maybe > a 6cm fan.
but the new galvo's noise will < a 6cm fan.
anyway the update of the driver you can see it,the galvo looks same with old ,all change you can't see them.
but these no other than importance.

I think Jians english is fine, I always manage to understand perfectly.
I just go to school 9 years only,up to high school.
So all friends all understand what I say

What happens to my old scanners then? Do I send them back to you? How much does that cost? (Or do I get to keep *both* pair?)

    I'm really interested now!

Jian, thanks for understanding. I still cannot figure out what caused it to blow. The only thing I can think of is a loss of siginal or a spike from the easylase. after replacing the fuse I used it for one hour strait with no problem. I will run it some more tonight.
