Placing this thread in the Lounge in hopes it may be seen by someone who has not seen the SELEM threads or is one the fence for the event, AND lives within 100 miles of DFW OR Houston Areas. Or on my route(s)

PLEASE-- *anyone* in Texas that wants to discuss going to SELEM by (new) car see this thread link below and PM me ASAP! Putting off making plans is just setting one's self for a FAIL!!

You will miss meeting Dr Sam and there is a chance that Mike Dunn will attend.

I am willing to alter my route to come pick you up!!
If leaving from Houston I will pass thru Baton Rouge- Biloxi then - Mobile and Montgomery Ala. to Atlanta.

IF I have a rider from DFW we will be going thru Shreveport La, Jackson or Birmingham ( Ala.) and then Atlanta. I will be leaving in time to get to SELEM by Thursday noonish.

I need good drivers and smokers need to wait for rest stops.(COPD)

If any PL members know of a canidate please PM me- some visit PL sporatically and maybe a PM will get a response.

The lodging is easy to arrange- but unless we make it to Newton... no point!!

PS

may sound like a crazy idea but anyone that can fly into Houston can also ride with me from there. You would need to arrive before noon on Wed( the 15th) and your flight home cannot be any earlier than Monday evening-perfect use of those free frequent flyer 'miles' --
