Quickshow advanced tutorials, demos, tips, advice?

Hi All. I got Pangolin QS two weeks ago!


Over and above the quickshow tutorials by Pangolin which cover the basics, does anyone know of any resources which would help in creating more advanced shows, effects, parameters etc in an effective way for choreographed beamshows? I am especially interested in advanced beam show creation on the timeline and manipulating effects for the sake of continuity, as opposed to just placing cue after cue and slapping on various effect lines.


How did you pro's learn all this? Playing around, trial and error?
Do you have any advice for a guy who is really passionate about laser shows and who's dream it is do make a career out of it?
I have started doing laser shows at small parties for free because I love doing it so much and I have organised a trial at a club (although choreographed shows interest me more vs live!)

Just load some shows and workspaces from pangolin showspace and just look how the effects are built up.
Try to rebuild effects that you like.
If the effect list contains multiple effects, just look what happens when you enable/disable by clicking the box in front of the effect.
And try to understand what happens if you change the order of the effect list.
