    Green laser potentiometer added.. √
    Green laser divergence increased.. √
    Yellow laser beam.. sorta?

The better direction to go would be with a red that has a smaller beam profile and a divergence to suit your green and wavelengths @ 638-642nm. 658nm would also work and gives a smaller beam but you need much more power to balance things out. After all I take it you want the beam to fit onto some scanner mirrors. Expanding the green to suit your red will also decrease visibility and introduce more losses due to the extra optics, not to mention losses of spillover on the scanner mirrors with such a fat beam. There are scanners with bigger mirrors to accommodate larger beams but at the expense of speed.

This was just a quick test to see if I was going insane or if I could actually
make a yellow beam. I fully intend to restore the green back to its original
state. I'm talking with Edison now about making me a custom red laser.

I agree completely with the need for a better red. There are a dozen ways YOU could do this if you wanted to get into the designing of a driver/diode/mount/optics set up. A single or at most dual diode module is about as simple as laser construction gets with all the components widely available and inexpensive. Alternatively, buying a complete module from Edison is a very safe bet. I suspect your only disappointment with his construction will be your dissatisfaction with... your green.

Yes, I continue to hear much praise about Edison and his fantastic laser diode modules.
I look forward to working with him on a solution for my red and possibly some blue in the
near future. Unfortunately, he seems to be a very, very busy man. LOL. It is difficult to
get in touch with him at a time when he is *not* making laser items for somebody. =p

BTW, what I want to do is gut the original laser head and place something better inside,
using the original TEC / diode driver that came with the head. I'm hoping this is possible.
If anybody has ever done this with a Lasever LSRxxxNL style head, please let me know!
