No water, 150-300W (depending on nummber of TEC's used) 4 channel MCU/PWM controlled TEC heat exchanger direct on the Projector. Has a 200mm x 100mm foot print on the back of the projector with 2 100mm forced air fans inside and out.
I'll post some pictures when im done with my current build.
Hahaha I have no problem with the thread derailment, its quite an intriguing conversation.
Many people would sooner die than think; in fact, they do so.

You should have seen the fireworks THIS year!!! lol...
TRUSSSSST me....There is NOT as much profit in building projectors as one may think!!

I believe Kvant now do a case option thats sealed to IP 67.
According to the Wiki that requires a test of 30 minutes under water at a depth of 1m (3 feet 3⅜ inches for the imperial parts of the world) !!!
I reckon that's pretty sealed as sealed goes! I'm also not aware its water cooled unless of course it is submerged.
However, I take your point. Sealing a case entirely does throw up all sorts of cooling challenges albeit I think looking at the Kvants, it obviously is something that can be overcome.

What you free-spirited, libertarian Europeans fail to recognize is this not an issue impacting people who manufacture laser projectors and those that use them. This is an issue that affects EVERY SINGLE THING WE DO. That chewing gum is regulated. The power inlet socket is regulated not to mention the nuclear power plant AND the tooth paste. I think if I was in Marc's position I would simply go postal (funny how government affects some people) and get out of the business. It's kinda gratifying that the aperture is left open (stupid) for compliance only and everybody knows it.
