    Wow 240. Not nearly as bad as I woulda thunk. What kind of correction / collimating optics do these take? Got any pics of one in action?

    Hi!
    They need still only one beam collimator asphere... I test some at the moment for get the best result.
    Still, the beam is like a standard single mode red diode !
    At 10pcs. the price Drops to 210,-€

    Hi!
    This are green OSRAM Diodes. Surely I have the new units blue Diodes (1,4W CW rated at 452nm) on my table for test. A bit better beamdata than the Nichia/CA$IO, and a nice blue wavelength - but still more expensive...

    ditto that! a ballpark on prices for the blue would also be nice to know
    "its called character briggs..."
