Ustream Question...

Hi All

I've just signed up for Ustream as I need to transmit some live images over the internet. Problem is it stops transmitting after about 30 minutes.

Is this normal? Should I have to restart it every 30 minutes or so? I seem to remember at one of the LEM's we just set it going and it merrily transmitted for ages. maybe i'm doing something wrong .

I do not remember any time limit. You might want to see if there is anything you can set a time limit with to make sure nothing got "turned on" by mistake.

Thanks Aaron. I just have it set at whatever it was when it installed. I haven't found a setting for time as yet.

Even though this isn't really answering your question I HIGHLY suggest using livestream.com instead, its faster and works all around better.

use livestream.com
Less advertisements in between.
as a matter in fact ustream will eventually send you back to an advertisement again if you watch for a specific amount of time.

do be aware that if your channel isn't verified (which for free users requires a lot of views and livestreams)
Your viewer cap is at 50 users.
