    Default "Up" Button

Some forums I go on elsewhere have an "Up" button:

At 1st I thought this was a useless feature. However, in actual fact having started using it, it's a really useful way of getting back to the top of the page from very quickly and saves loads of scrolling and wear on the old wrists.

It just kind of hovers in the right margin next to the scroll bar until you need it. One click and you're all the way back at the top of the page.

    Any chance?

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

I never knew that. Thought it was just for Word etc.

Oh god, but what on earth do you do if you're about halfway down the page?? Scroll up, or down so you can use the top button?
Think of the time wasted in that dithering second.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Anyway, whats with the binary buttons? How about an analogue knob (no 'wear on the wrist' jokes please ) to decide how far back/up you want to go?
