Default Good source for rolled glass

Does anyone have a good source for some rolled glass? All the rolled glass that I find seems to be from China and I just know it is going to be a headache to try and get a bunch of 4" pieces of it. I want to finish my lumia but I am waiting until I get some good pattern glass which isn't as easy to find as it sounds.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Hadn't tried that. Thanks for the suggestion! I was mainly just looking online.

Home-run on the suggestions guys, thanks. Now I have another problem... I am in pattern glass overload! I am going to order a few sample packs (if I can... not sure of the price yet) but damn, that is going to give me 30+ viable pieces of pattern glass... I only have 4 low RPM motors. I guess I am going to have to make an index of lumia patterns to choose from and put shaft sleeves on all of them!

In case you guys are interested:

It looks like each manufacturer has sample packs available. Again, I don't know the price but I will find out on monday.

From my own experience/opinion, there isn't enough variety in the glass sampler packs to make this your best choice. Some of the best glass I have found is "architectural" or cabinet glass. Some stained glass shops may have it, or try commercial glass shops. Take a laser pointer.

If you have a Hobby Lobby nearby, buy some clear "granite" - it makes a nice lumia. Another commonly used pattern is "ice".

I got several really good pieces from Whittemore-Durgin Stained Glass Supplies. $30 bucks for a sample pack; which has about 10 that are really good but some of the others aren't usefull at all. I have a thread on here somewhere with some video of the different ones.

30 bucks, what do you have to loose?

Awesome. Thanks, guys! In lasers, $30 is nothing!
