    Pricey. Dave ordered the mirror mounts, I can't recall where from. I think Newport...

    The dichro's/filters we ordered from edmund scientific. They were a few hundred dollars with shipping. But they are VERY GOOD.

    Almost no loss off them...

    That's quite the baseplate you have everything mounted to! Looks to be 1/2 an inch or thicker. And all the fans on the bottom! Great! (No thermal problems for you!)

    How much power at each wavelength are you running. From the pics it looks like you've got a lot of extra green in there...

    Green = ~250mw
    Blue = ~230mw
    Red = ~600mw

    10mm Baseplate... It's amazing how much heat everything produces... without the fans spinning, the huge heatsink we have everything mounted to gets rather warm....

    In real life, the beam is pretty white, with a little bit of a greenish tinge to it.

    The beauty of using green and blue lasers with adjustable focus means that we get an almost perfect white spot...

    That is a nice set up! What optics did you get from Edmund's that cost taht much, or was it all shippping?

    Also, I see everyone mounting heat sinks to the bottom of their set ups. Why not on top, where heat ususally goes?

    Because the lasers are designed for the heat to be removed via the base plate...

    and it also means a totally dust sealed optical enclosure can be built, with the fans/airflow being totally separate
