Default SDK Kit works with Beyond!

A few people on here have recently been requesting games for Beyond.

I've just been told that the existing Pangolin SDK kit works with Beyond and that all available MAME games should be convertible, so if anyone wants to get converting, it should be possible to have a whole range of games working on Beyond.

Are you saying there is a new SDK now available that will work with the FB3 hardware? - Or does the SDK still only work with a QM2K? which has always been the case with LD/ST2K

In the conversation I had with Bill this morning it was that the existing SDK kit worked with Beyond so I'm guessing that means that it is still restricted to the QM and not FB3.

Is it possible that the SDK can address Beyond as an intermediate layer, which then handles the translation for the appropriate interface? i.e. you're not addressing the FB3/QM directly.
Otherwise, I don't see the relevance of saying that Beyond works with the SDK (or vice versa, depending on your angle)

Maybe you can use your hotline to God Al, and ask if Bill or Alexey can come here and briefly explain the details of this. I wanna play Asteroids!

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

You could always fire a question off via the contact form.

Contact forms are for pussies, I just use his email address.

    I just thought that:
    a) you were already having dialogue with him about it (i.e. I don't have to re-type half the story about your unknown [to me] conversation)
    b) if it's posted here, by Him, everyone gets to see it and benefit.

Maybe just mention it in your next contact or something - I wasn't implying you need to go and run off like the PL clerk and arrange meetings, the calendar, lunch or anything sordid (I know what you clerks get up to...)

TBH I'm having very little contact atm Norty as I'm not currently testing as I have other more important real life issues on my plate so its unlikely I'll be chatting to Bill again soon.

The essence of my conversation was I suggested that perhaps some games could be supplied with Beyond to which it was replied that there appears to be very little interest. At lems when someone has run laseroids, no one else has shown any interest in playing. It was then said that the existing SDK kit with LD also worked with Beyond. I forgot to ask about the platform but now its been mentioned, it would seem to be QM.

So if you want more of an answer, you'd be far better to talk to Bill yourself as it may be some time before I'm in contact again due to other commitments.

Reading the help file i understand it's disadvantages, still if you would be able to built in multiple file support it would be great !
