    Default Greens not blanking completely

    Greetings, all;

    I recently purchased a couple of the 200m green modules from O-Like.

    When installed in my projectors, the greens don't blank completely. There are faint trails visible that should be blanked.
    These are run from Dr. Lava P3's.
    Yes, checked the bias pot.

    My previous greens (and all the other greens I have worked with) don't have this problem.

    We have a big show next week, so I don't have time to order from another dealer.

    I have tried a number of other 200mw greens from other dealers and have yet to find one that will put out a full 200mw. These do, but at the cost of the blanking problem.

    So, any suggestions for fixing this? Might the mysterious middle pot on the P3 have a bearing?

    We are running this from Quick Show.

    I understand the issues with DPSS greenies, just haven't seen this before.
    I also understand that we can probably fix this with a color board, and it's on my list; just no time to install before the show.
    Hoping for a quick fix here, but I suspect I'm SOL.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Sounds like you have the idle current set too high on the P3. This is controlled by the bias pot (closest to the output wires that go to the diode). Try turning this pot down while the laser is blanked, and see if the faint trails go away.
