Default FlexMod P3 Laser Driver Question

    Hello-

New the forusm here, and need some assistant with a research project I have!

I need a TTL capable laser driver that can handle up to ~1A in current, and a 2.2-2.6V load, and the P3 appears to fit the bill... but I cannot find any confirmation that it can handle the lower voltage loads at the somewhat moderate-high current levels.

Can anybody confirm this for me?

    Thanks!

    Use a 5VDC powersupply.
The supplied heatsink will be insufficient for your application.
Use a 10K/W heatsink or lower instead.

    Thank you for the confirmation!

-bart- In regards to the heatsink, do you have a recommended supplier to check out?

    Thank you again!

drlava- I see on your order page that the P3 is temporarily out of stock. Do you have an ETA for having it back in stock, or another source I look towards? I need the driver in ~2 weeks to support some dissertation research. Thank you!

I am also wondering when they will be back in stock. Also, is there anyone, DrLava or others, that can repair p3s? Apparently I did something wrong with one of mine and it no longer outputs any current to the diode. The indicator LED still illuminates during the timer cycle and then goes out but no output. I don't recall seeing any sparks or smoke and nothing looks burnt. Thanks for any help. -Luke
