Hi guys,

Just want to get the latest feelings on Kvant and Laserwave modules. In particular their 445 blues ( or near)
Laser modules develop almost by the month so what was good ( or bad) a year ago may be totally different today.

I am looking at both Kvant and Laserwave units. These in the 6 to 10 watt size.
Maybe there is another good reputable manufacturer.?

Now just to put balance into my question. I have had dealings with both companies before.It is true to say I have had issues with both manufacturers modules in the past.
On the other hand I have had brilliant support from both of them.

I am a great supporter of the fact that the strength of a company lies in what they do when it goes wrong. Both did a great job at fixing the issues in a timely way.
By the way since the fix both units are going well some two years later.

So I guess my question is, where do we think the state of the art is, as of today.
Which one is in the lead in the 445 blue arena???

I have no arguments with either.

Obviously this may be best answered by those with experience with both manufaturers.
