very pleased with the results.

its a 1.2watt 638nm module, it uses 4x 300mw 638 diodes.

the beam is 4mm x 5mm at aperture @ around 1.2mR

it runs on 5v @ 5amp

Very nicely made. Also nice that it uses 5v. Hope my psu still has some amps over to feed my red module later

I am wondering about the backside. Is it a port for a external driver?

no driver is all inside the housing

a little messy, but ive never been able to get amazing crystal clear dots like single mode diodes
