Exclamation Bridging the old with the new

I can't believe this mix is as catchy as it is. I'm almost embarrased to admit that I like it, but damnit - I like it.

Take a pop song from 1984, mix in an international pop song from 2012, and what do you get?

PSY's "Gangnam Style" meets Ray Parker Jr's "Ghostbusters". And so help me God, it actually works. Check it out...

Gosh! This is a crap version good for teenagers only... I agree about rhythm, it is cool..... But the new lyrics....OMG!!!! Bleah! That kind of dancing clown has an horrible voice also!
My dear old "Ghostbusters", the original one sung by Ray Parker Jr. and his "Radio Band"..... Where are you baby?
'70-'80 Music..... I will forever love them and beyond!

When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

HAHA! Yeah, I agree that it's a song better suited for teenagers than for folks our age. I was just really surprised at how well the two songs blended together. (Despite being nearly 30 years apart!)

I was actually surprised at how out-of-step they were in that video. You'd think they would be really good at being in step by this point in their careers... (And they got the dance wrong as well. Sigh.)

OK, one more goofy mash-up and then I'm done.

Pink Floyd's "The Wall" meets "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.

That one works amazingly well too.

Hey - wait a minute! Brad... You're supposed to be preparing for Hurricane Sandy - not surfing PL!

Oh well, since you're here, I guess I can share one more goofy mash-up. This one spans just over 30 years. Jefferson Airplane's "Sombody to Love" meets Fatboy Slim's "Praise You"

Now go buy some batteries or something!

The eye is currently about 30 miles away. We've had a good bit of rain and some wind but, the batteries were already bought so, since I like to keep my prioroties in order, figured I'd spend some time here!
