You'll have a couple of problems with that Andy, try turning the galvos round and also pointing your red at it
Mine started out like that, it starts changing once you work out where your mirror mounts are going though.
It does look like a tidy set up though.

Oh BTW I think you will need to put something more substantial in the case for the optic base, the case is way too thin to use on its own.
Yea, you don't want a flimsy base. I went the cheap way and used 3/4" melanine. It's particle board with a thin white coverning.
the case is pretty strong so im not worried about that. and for the moment im gona hot glue the optics (mirrors) in, until i can get some proper stuff. im gona build it up as i go along
anyone else wana show their set up???

Leave your projector in the sun on a hot day and it will end in tears..Originally Posted by andy_con

Honestly andy ..... take the advice about the base ....
You will never get perfect alignment of the red and green over a long distance ( so you wont get yellow ) if you use that case as a base, What you need to do is get an 10mm thick Aluminium Plate to fit in the bottom of the case .....
This is coming from a few peoples experience.... including mine ....
Best to have good foundations to build on now rather than trying to correct it at a later date
All the best ...... Karl
What is the best setup for red green and blue?
blue first, red then green ?
point taken on board, but what im saying is, its a strong box and its flat and does not bend.
if it does go wrong ill have to change it.

Cruch ....
It depends on what you can aford to lose ....
if your blue has the lowest power by the time it has passed through the 2 dicro filters you can lose 10 to 20% of its power
( depending on the quality of the dichros ) so if your green has the highest output put that first then the red then the blue
all the best ... Karl
