I emailed you about soldering the polarized connectors on the board, or just packaging them with the board for you to solder but haven't gotten a response. What would you like me to do?

    Hi Jeffrey,
May I ask you if a LaserShark V2.0 kit is still available ?
If Yes, can you tell me how to process in order to purchase one please ?
    Thank you very much

    I have a few left. It's 65$ plus shipping:
5.35$ within the U.S. via USPS priority
16.95$ (sorry!) outside the US via USPS priority international.

The kit = 1 soldered together Lasershark V2 pcb that I have calibrated. Please do let me know if you want the headers soldered on/off.

Also know that as-is, you can control one laser. If you want to use the channel B (analog), C(ttl), or the interlock pins, you will likely have to do some coding.

Oh, and if you want to try out OpenLase without any hardware, you can try out the simulator that comes with it.

Feel free to ask more questions

I've had 4 people now approach me within the span of 3 days who specifically ask me questions about a laser blanking connector. Before this time nobody has asked me anything about this. Is there some other forum or website that has been discussing the Lasershark? I'm rather curious what makes you ask this specific question.

Edit: also so I can tell you how things will connect, can you tell me about your current setup? What requires blanking on your equipment?

Interesting, I guess it is a coincidence.

Take a look at the pinout diagram of the lasershark on this page:
    http://macpod.net/electronics/lasers...hark_usage.php

For a single TTL laser setup, you will need to connect the following:
    1. Connect the galvo amplifier signal lines to the X and Y connectors.
    2. Connect the TTL laser data line to the "A" connector. This connector has the capability to drive an analog driver, but it will also drive a TTL laser fine.

That's it! If you had an analog laser connected to the "A" connector, you could have different laser brightnesses. With the TTL laser, you will only be able to turn it on, or off.

If you find the laser turns on slowly or you get "tails", you can adjust the delay and offset values within the "output" application that OpenLase uses. This should improve/eliminate the tails and slow "turn on" times.

    Hope that helps!

Is the LaserShark project still alive? And can this card - by any chance - used out of BeamConstruct laser marking software?
