Need help making blue ray laser pointer..

i have a blue ray diode and wondering how much power i can put through it before it will die? also is there any places that make casings?

The only way to find out is to try and fair warning: You will likely kill a few.

Iop is different for every single diode. Find the manufacturers spec sheet and then completely ignore the Iop and mind the threshold like it's your only child.

As far as a housing goes: I'm having to make my own.
