How to install a laser power output reglator?

Hi,

I'm getting ready to build my firs RGB laser projector and I would like to install manual output power regulators for each of the laser modules (same as >this< one has on the back), but I don't really have a clue as to how it's usually done.
I've tried looking around for info, but I haven't been able to find anything much for the moment.
Has anyone done this in any of their projectors?

easy, you just wire 10k trim pots on pins 5,6,7 of your ilda socket

Wow! Thanks. I've been looking around Rob's store loads of times, but I don't remeber coming across the DS3.
I'm so glad to see I't so simple and all worked out with robs circuit boards, and I actually already have the ilda breakout board, so I'm half way there already.
I might have to use the 10k trim pot approach though instead of the DS3, because I already have a case with the holes for the trim pots already made, and I dont think they're spaced out at the same distances.

the ds3 is a fairly new addition, that's maybe why you haven't seen it

That back panel looks very handy. If I wasn't using one of the USA versions of edison's case for this build, I would surely use it, but I don't really want to modify it unless it's absolutely essential, and the 10k pot mod seems fairly simple, so I think I'm going to by three and wire them myself.
