The driver board includes the necessary power supply, and it is switchable between 115V/230V. The galvos are specified at >24K, typically 26K. These parts have just returned from a full service at JM Laser last week. He has replaced all the shafts and the mirrors, and tuned the amplifiers so now they are performing like a new system.

    WideMove XT

MediaLas announces the new galvo line, called WideMove XT. The WideMove XT galvos are capable of an optical scanning angle of 180 ! Due to the limited mirror length, an XY system can handle maximum 90 optical angle. The shaft has no mechanical stop. Even at overshoots, the galvo will not be harmed.
The WideMove XT galvo line is easy to use, has an encapsulated position detector, is very low priced and can handle even large scanning angles at a high speed. The mirrors are able to handle laser power up to 10W. Each XY galvo system comes with driver, power supply for 115/230VAC, 2x galvos, adjustable mounts and 50cm ribbon cables

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. That is the first thing I thought too, probably a rebranded version.

    Most things are re-branded.

I love to see stickers that say made in Example Germany and later to find its made in china, The only thing that was made in Germany was the sticker. No offense intended.

I love also to see comments like " I invented " and later to find actually that person who says he invented it, just put his sticker on it and sells it for the inventor. This is very common within the Laser show business.

Indeed they could be different, size; but still a version of eyemagic, it is very doubtful companies would go to almost the exact same design unless one copied another like happened with Cambridge and the Chinese versions of 6800. There is a lot of design copying going on as I see lately from recent devices on this forum.

JM Laser no longer seam to sell these either so maybe Eyemagic made variations of scanners for different companies.

If they are a version of eye magic, they will be great scanners which was the reason for my posting. Not anti the sales thread.

    Are they still for sale.
