They had one in the Spiderman ride at Universal Studios when I worked there as a laser tech. I can't remember the amperage, but the disconnect on the wall was rather large. More than 16 Amps if I had to guess. My Avitar pic is the Lee laser in Spiderman running at full power.
Sorry I wasn't more helpful.
LEE Laser does not bark or bite. Have you tried emailing them? They are very professional, big, industrial laser maker.
Sad truth about PL:
Most people here assume vendors do not support their products or talk to individuals. In most cases this is untrue. Usually they will respond in a few days.
Steve
That very true i will email them. Ill post what they say as it may be of interest to others.

Hi DanielSon...
Hmm.. not to 'stick my finger in yer pudding', but.. how much experience do you have with pulsed-YAGs? This is definitely *not* a good 'first-time big-gun' laser, and for a multitude of reasons beyond the risks of putting a permanent hole in the back of yer retina faster than you can say 'marmalade!'.. P'esser Steve will now explain why, I've got to jet, for now..
cheers!

Thanks for your concern. I have a healthy respect for lasers and I work with them professionally. Im OK safety wise its just technical help I need really.

hi DS -
Good to hear of your solid-experience with Class IV, etc, but as-implied, the other 'concern' is that industrial-KTPs can be a bit 'tempermental' unless tuned / temp-reg'd properly.. I'm sure the Lee's are probably quite stable, but, again, that's dependent on 'keeping them happy'.. the 'worst' were Laser Fantasy I-2000s, like a very 'high-maintenance' GF..Laserscopes are not nearly as-fussy, but form-factor is a challenge, unless taking them thru an arduous full-conversion...
We'll try and help with the Lee, as best we can, but your best-bet is to contact them, direct.. You can also contact Greg Makhov, of 'LSDI', in Orlando FL.. iirc, he has had quite a good-deal of experience with them, and can give you a 'first-hand' account of their-particular pros / cons / Op-tips, etc..
Post pix!
cheers..

Fantastic advice. Will post pictures asap, thanks guys watch this space... I may try and fire this laser up before I take it home with one of the guys that actually used to take this out to events. They still have everything in place there. Again, thanks for all your help so far.
Well here it is, as you can see it has the old x and y scanner units mounted under the beam table..
Just need a replacement unit for the cooler:
I think its the heat ex changer-i don't know for sure. the pipe marked in the photo has broken off this item. I stupidly did this when emptying the water,
I suppose it may now be a nightmare getting a replacement for this-mind you i suppose it just a standard fridge unit at the end of the day.
I've now removed the whole laser unit from the beam table to store it in a cleaner / warm environment. MFG date seems to be 1999 or 2000 Power supply hours reads: 1066
